This Challenge Is NOT For You IF:

1. You’re An Endurance Athlete. This challenge is not suitable for individuals who are preparing for endurance events such as marathons or triathlons. These types of sports demand a high amount of energy, and it’s not advisable to be on a calorie-restricted diet if you wish to achieve optimal performance. Instead, we suggest focusing on one objective at a time. First, lose any excess weight, and then concentrate on your endurance sport. Shedding the weight will enhance your endurance abilities. If you’re interested in finding a personalised nutrition strategy, consider booking a private coaching session.

2. You’re Making Weight For A Competition. This challenge is not intended for use as a method to make weight for competition weigh-ins. If you are a fighter looking to simply lose weight, this challenge can be effective for you, but please do not use it as part of your competition preparation.

3. You Have Eating Disorders. If you are currently managing a mental illness or have a history of an eating disorder, this challenge is NOT appropriate for you. This challenge demands your full attention, and participating in it during a period of healing or mental instability may not be beneficial to you. You should be in a good place mentally, physically and emotionally so that you can fully participate and enjoy the experience.

4. You Have Medical Conditions & Chronic Or Acute Injuries. If you have any medical conditions such as Type 1 Diabetes, Cancer, or Heart Disease, or if you are managing chronic injuries, this challenge is not suitable for you. The nutrition and training methods in this program may not be appropriate for these health conditions. Instead, consider our 12 Week Kaizen Wellness Method lifestyle program or a one-on-one session with our performance nutritionist who can work with your healthcare providers to improve your eating and exercise habits.

5. You’re A Vegan. This challenge is not appropriate for individuals who follow a fully vegan diet. The macro-nutrient ratios programmed in this fat-loss protocol are are just not conducive to the profiles of plant-based whole-foods.

6. You Can’t Follow A Plan. This challenge is not suitable for individuals who find it difficult to adhere to meal plans. I will provide a specific plan that requires strict adherence and cannot be improvised or altered and expect it to be effective.

7. You’re A Procrastinator. This challenge is not recommended for people who have difficulty taking action. It requires a high level of daily mental and physical effort and requires consistent action. If you aspire to become leaner but struggle with taking action, it may be more beneficial to enrol in my 12 week lifestyle program, “The Kaizen Wellness Method,” which focuses on developing essential skills such as taking action, increasing confidence, building discipline, and enhancing skills gradually.

8. You Lack Motivation. If you lack self-motivation, this challenge is not appropriate for you. Frequently Asked Challenge Questions:

A: There is no cookie-cutter rate that applies to everyone. How much you’re able to shred in 8 weeks is going to depend on many factors including your starting body fat levels, your gender, your fitness levels and how much muscle you have. For example women with starting body fat of below 20% rates will be slower than for a man starting with 20% body fat. What you will achieve, if you adhere strictly to this protocol for the full 8 weeks, is going to be very close to, if not your maximal fat-loss capacity – while maintaining muscle. If you follow this protocol 100% you will see real results in just a few weeks.

A: If you really want definition, you’ve got to build the muscle underneath your fat first. This is NOT a muscle building plan and eight weeks is definitely too short to build any significant amount of muscle. All this program can do is reveal the muscle you already have.

A: No. There is nothing on earth that can help you with that. You cannot spot reduce one area of your body while preserving your fat mass in another area, that is not how your body works. It will take body fat from everywhere. Your fat areas will get leaner and your lean areas will get even leaner. This is normal. The longer you maintain your leanness the better your body will even out the fat distribution after a few months or years at maintenance.

A: Yes. Most people have more that they want to lose and we’ve got you covered if that’s your goal. You’ll have the option to extend your access to the App for a small monthly fee to keep access to your program. There is also options to sign up for our next challenge.

A: No. You never have to do anything you don’t want to. But we use them and love them and have been using them for years so we’re just sharing the strategies that get us and our clients that little bit of an edge. The foundation of your results will depend on what you eat and how you exercise.  

A: If this is a fear going in – you should probably sit this challenge out.

A: You’re welcome to do whatever you want for fun – but to qualify for the coaching prizes you need to follow the complete protocol and complete every check in. 

A: No. The training is a supportive task in this challenge and you can opt for the 3 day per week training program if 5 days conflict with your schedule. But our 3 day program is the minimum requirement to compete for the coaching prizes.

A: Yes but you have to stay within our recommended additional cardio guidelines. Repair and recovery between workouts are essential and the rest days are NON negotiable if you want to compete for the challenge prizes.

A: You will upload everything directly in the app. You will be instructed where, when & how to log your photos & check-ins every week.

A: No, if you want to crop your face – you can do that, alternatively you can request our team to do it for you via whatsapp or email.

A: Only if you want to compete for the prizes. If you’re just doing it for your personal fun there is no need – BUT don’t miss out on the opportunity to document your progress. It has many psychological & emotional benefits that you miss out on when you do not track your progress. 

A: Yes. BUT ONLY AFTER WE ASK YOU TO CONFIRM YOUR PERMISSION AFTER THE CHALLENGE ENDS. By submitting your photos & check-ins your data is stored on our server – but it is kept private until we contact you in writing (via email OR whatsapp) after the challenge.

Once you have booked a starting date, your challenge runs from your selected date for 6 weeks and to compete for the prizes you have to within your selected 6 week challenge period meet all check ins.

You will have access to your plans and programs till end December 2022.

If you aren’t competing for the prizes, you are welcome to start and finish anywhere  within the platform access period ending 31 December 2022.

NO. The gender and starting stats you select and fill in on your questionnaire is used in the calculations to develop your protocol. 

So changing your gender and starting after we have worked out your plans means we have to start a full strategy from scratch.
